The 28th annual Disability Awareness Day is recognised as the world’s largest voluntary led pan-disability independent living exhibition and family fun day covering physical, sensory and learning disabilities and mental health, for all ages. The key objective of the day is “Promoting Independence Throughout Life & Work”.
500 exhibitors will highlight equipment, mobility products, transport, employment, education, health and social care, leisure activities, and services, with over 100 support groups and much more. Visitors can try sports activities including archery, shooting, basketball, fencing, football, rugby, boxing, karate, tennis and scuba diving in the on-site pool. There will also be Arts Marquees with some of the UK’s leading disabled artists attending and a display by the Guide Dog Display Teams, Birds of Prey, the Warrington BSL Signing Choir and much much more.
